BEATE WEIN

(Piano, Bass Novation, Pianet)

After classical training in piano and theory at the HfMT Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in
Leipzig, Beate studies music and sports at the University of Potsdam. Since 1994 she has been working in stylistically
different band projects between metal, rock, hip hop, pop, jazz and free improvisation as a singer
and pianist. musical research trips take her to India and Nepal, among other places. In 2003 she co-founded
together with Annett Lipske, the singer/songwriter duo handinhand, with whom she has produced and recorded five albums touring through Germany. In 2007, together with Matyas Wolter and Aaron Christ, she co-founded the internationally renowned Pulsar Trio. Beate works as a freelance musician, clinic clown, composer and teacher.
